In
1997 the Lord spoke to Pastor Ivory Jenkins Jr. concerning
the start of his own ministry. After much praying and fasting
the vision that God had given to him finally became a reality.
On March 7, 1999, The Fountain of Praise Deliverance Tabernacle
was born. The ministry started with 17 members joining on
that same day, this ministry started out on Sunday nights
at El-Bethel Baptist Church, located at 715 Bellevue Ave.,
Trenton, NJ.
After being there for a period of time we moved in June 1999
and began our fellowship with Loving Kindness Witnesses for
Christ Church with Overseer Merlene Williams, located at 124
Proctor Street, Trenton, NJ.
On
the 1st Sunday of February 2000, the Lord called us to our
own building located at the corner of West End Ave. &
Montgomery Street, Trenton, NJ. We only could use the church
on Sunday mornings and Thursday nights. We still weren’t
satisfied, because the vision was much larger. In less than
6-months the Lord blessed us to move into our own building,
located at 685 Stuyvesant Ave., Trenton, NJ with the full
use of the building. In less than 2 years the ministry began
to grow fast and the vision was not ending. On November 2002,
the Lord turned things around again for the Fountain of Praise
and blessed us with a larger building, located at 331 Bellevue
Ave., Trenton, NJ.
Pastor
Jenkins encouraged the congregation that our vision was much
larger and the Lord blessed us with a miracle without warning.
The Lord gave us victory with nothing in our hands. Due to
sustained growth, the 250 members purchased our own building
on July 4, 2004, located at 439 Centre Street, Trenton, NJ.
Many great preachers prophesied this day, we were told that
this ministry wouldn’t last for 3 months, but God preordained
this ministry and we have survived for over 7 years.
Through
the ministry many people have been blessed, healed, saved
and delivered. Souls have experienced the mighty move of God,
growth, spiritual knowledge, as well as strong personal relationship
with God.
We
believe at the Fountain of Praise Deliverance Tabernacle that
God is not finished with us. We are still moving by great
leaps and bounds and we realize that God has much more for
this ministry.

Jr., there is no secret what God can do, what he has done
for US he will do for you.
